I'm fond of cactus too and it's much more difficult to grown them in a redwood forest, and slight cruel too. I'm not sure I like the message your cactus is sending. ;-)
I was thinking this cactus was trying to deflect attention away from its thorns with the innocent heart stones. Maybe I should just let my plants be plants.
