Looks like some sort of fruit tree, though I can't figure out what kind. Maybe a plum? We have similar here that grow "wild" and you can see them throughout the forested areas but the fruit their bare are small greenish plums. The birds eat them.
Beautiful pictures. It sounds like you are getting some great exercise too. You won't catch me on a bike, but I am in awe of both of you. I do plan on hiking in Yellowstone and I will be cleaning rooms, so my exercise level will increase. Thanks for visiting my site. I appreciate the support.
