One thing I really like about Texas




This is true: there is no such thing as a good hair day in Central Texas. At least that's been my experience. And that is irksome to say the least, but if you're into spotting birds and listening to the sweet sounds of song birds, Texas is pretty great. These are a couple pictures of birds from our visit to Big Bend National Park last April.

Ha! Is that because Texas is humid? Here, drier air is a problem with my hair and we've had plenty of that lately.

Yep, it's the humidity and sometimes there's the wind plus humidity combo. It doesn't help that I can't seem to find a good hairstylist either. When we go to Colorado it's like remembering what my hair is really like. :)
