Day 76 - rites of spring

Saw many species of birds (wild turkey, hawks, geese) today while on the bike trail. This one was the only cooperative model. He/she waited patiently while I finally figured out the camera was on the wrong setting. D'oh. It flew off just a sec after I finally took this shot. What a gorgeous first day of spring!

Are all models thin? This one is very attractive. I'm enjoying your photos. Just bought a new digital camera and can't wait to try my hand. I do hate instructions, though.

Judy - funny! The other 'model' I was trying to work with was a male turkey who was strutting around with all his feathers in display but that rascal kept turning his back to me.

Judy, I love your comment, I think that all models are this thin! lol

I too have a new camera and hate instructions, maybe we can share our lucky shots with one another... you tall me which buttons you pushed when you get a good shot and I'll do the same for you, if I can remember! lol

Great shot Sherry, that's awesome this bird waited for you to get this wonderful photo!
