Day 273 - Forest Creature?

This broken tree trunk along the Mt. Rose meadow trail caught my eye.
Strange duck-like creature watching people pass by.

There is a tree that Mindy and I pass on our way to Warrenton that catches our attention everytime. We call it "the camel tree" because, from the angle we approach it from, it looks for all the world like a camel laying in the pasture.
