Dos Robles 

We left our dream home in the Sierra Nevada foothills (California's Gold Country) to move closer to our daughter who was expecting her first child (our first grandchild). She and her husband bought a lovely cottage in central Austin. Our expectation was to find something similar in the same general area. That's not what happened. Instead, we're about 28 minutes away just over the Hays county line.

I didn't/don't love the house but the two old soul oaks is what sold us on this property. This blog will help us to document our learning process as we figure out what it takes to "bloom where we're planted."
